Volunteers wanted

The Inglewood Golf Club relies heavily on many volunteers to keep the course in it's current good condition, run several administrative functions as well as membership services
The use of volunteers helps considerably to keep the cost of subscriptions down.

As you maybe aware our current volunteer group are getting a "bit long in the tooth" and we need more club members to put their hands up to help on a regular basis or one off occasions like working bees, tournaments etc

While the main committee spots are mostly filled for 2026, all committees need support from an injection of new volunteers to help manage workloads and also as part of succession planning for the future.

It is appreciated that family and other commitments make it difficult for some members to volunteer regular time to the club, but please consider the following ways time can be volunteered in a flexible moderate manner.

     1) Volunteer at advertised working bees (course and
         clubhouse)
     2) Undertake and take responsibility for small
       regular duties ie)
      a) Starting or helping organise club
         competitions.
      b) Maintaining  green fee tickets and scorecard
         and office supplies
      c) IT services , these can be broken down into
smaller parts like website maintenance, file
and e mail system maintenance, security camera
          monitoring,hardware maintenance and repair
          etc)
      d) Support the new membership and renewal
         process
      e) Checking green fees are paid
      f) Cleaning clubhouse exteriors and windows
      g) Maintain one of several gardens on the
           course
       g) Help secure new sponsorship arrangements
       h)Course maintenance (mowing, hedge
cutting, tree pruning, cleaning paths etc)

These are some examples, there would be several more. Many hands make light work.

None of the above tasks require you to join a    committee or attend meetings.

Please consider if you would like to help with any of the above tasks or other tasks.
