Sorry to ask again, we did not get much response to the Secretary Vacancy and more Volunteers requests last month.

 Below are the following tasks/roles the Club currently needs help with.

1) Club Secretary 

2) Committee member (unassigned role)

3) Starters

4) Person to monitor condition of golf carts

5) IT Support ie)website maintenance 

6) Green fee payment checking  

7) Gardening

8) Sponsorship Coordination 

9) Course work including mowing

10) Match Committee Support including helping with         Tournaments, Competitions and Juniors 

11) Clubhouse Maintenance (external mostly)  

Most of these roles do not require a large or regular time commitment and having more volunteers would make the club operate more effectively.

 While it is appreciated some members have other heavy commitments, are currently volunteers or have already given many years of service to the club, please consider undertaking small regular or one-off tasks can make a big difference to running of the club and the morale of the current Volunteers and the Committee.

The club saves a lot of funds by not employing staff to support Course Maintenance, organising memberships and general administration. This is reflected in relatively low Subscription levels. This is however not sustainable unless the pool of active Volunteers is built up and maintained. Even undertaking a small regular task makes a big difference.

The Club and the Course Condition has been developed over several decades of hard work by many past Volunteers and Committee members. Please honour that legacy by continuing the tradition of service and support for your club.
