WOMEN’S COMPETITIONS

  • SUMMER CUP: 6 Best Nett scores over summer, Silver Tray.
  • SUMMER ECLECTICS: Best Gross, Tulip Vase. Best Net, Copper Vase. 9 Hole. Best Nett. Eclectics – Best Gross & Nett. Players may play on the Inglewood course with a member of a golf club.
  • ECLECTICS: Ladies club competitions only, midweek women Tuesday. Weekend women Saturday. If weekend women play their competition midweek or a Midweek player plays her competition on a Saturday then these scores count for eclectics as it is a competition round. Best Gross & Best Nett. (3 Divisions) 9 Holer’s Front 9
  • BIRDIE TREE: Birdies written on hole gained in Inglewood Ladies Club competitions over the season.
  • SHOOTOUT: To be played on LGU Days, 4 rounds to qualify, 19 players with best Nett scores go on the ladder. Entry Fee to be paid.
  • LOIS MANDER MEMORIAL TROPHY: Midweek, Weekend Ladies. To be played on LGU days. Putting, and aggregate of the best 6 rounds for year.
  • DAPHNE CRONE TROPHY: Midweek and Weekend Ladies. M.T. draw. best aggregate Nett scores over 36 holes, in the event of a tie play off over 18 holes.
  • WHITE CUP: Tuesday and Saturday Ladies. M.T. draw Stableford for all players, two sections 0-26 handicap, 27-54 handicap.
  • NANCY McCORMICK: – N.Z. HOME LINKS EVENT: 36 Hole Foursomes.
  • NATIONAL TEAMS EVENT: – N.Z. EVENT: Entry fee to be paid. Team of 4. Four best Nett scores, best 3 Nett count at District Final.
  • GRANDMOTHERS CUP: Best Nett, medal round. (Best Net before Stableford.) 2 Best Nett 1st and 2nd. 9 hole players play for Molly Kay Trophy.
  • AUNTS TRAY: For everyone on the day. Best Stableford, F9 Holes, 18 and 9 Hole Players.
  • AOTEAROA CUP & CORONATION MEDAL: – N.Z. EVENT: Midweek and Weekend Ladies. Nett and Stableford.
  • SINCLAIR TROPHY: 36 hole strokeplay. Silver & Bronze. Best Gross overall.
  • D.B. BREWERIES: Bronze – Best Gross. 36 Hole Strokeplay.
  • INGLEWOOD RAILWAY HOTEL CUP: 36 Holes Nett. AM and PM net winners.
  • SILVER & BRONZE VASES: Match play, 2 divisions thus Silver & Bronze 1, 0-26. Bronze 2 & 3 27+.
  • TOP DOG: Midweek Competition. Handicap Matchplay in pairs, Senior and Junior partners, sections are subject to entries. Partners to be drawn.
  • THOMASON TROPHY: H/Caps 0-26. Three rounds of nett, best 2 of 3.
  • SCOTCHER TROPHY: H/Caps 27+. Three rounds of net, best 2 of 3.
  • FORRESTER TROPHY: Tuesday and Saturday players. M.T. Draw Two aggregate rounds, of stableford.
  • TIGER TOURNAMENT: Stableford, entry fee to be paid.
  • LADIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS: Matchplay. Seeded automatic draw. Silver, Bronze 1, Bronze 2, & Bronze 3. Matchplay to be played. Qualifying round to be played if required.
  • ETHEL WOOD ROSEBOWL: M.T. Draw, H/Caps 0-26, 3 rounds of eclectics.
  • REYNOLDS CUP: M.T. Draw, H/Caps 27+, 3 rounds of eclectics.
  • BETTY MELGARD TROPHY: Midweek and Weekend players, the handicap player who has the greatest reduction in handicap from ladies opening day to the close of the year competition. (Must have a current handicap at Opening day.)
  • SILVER BUTTONS: Midweek players. Stableford winners. Senior & Junior.
  • TOP CAT: Saturday ladies only. 3 rounds. Drawn Partners. Point allocated for 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. Players with most accumulated points is the winner. Week 1 2BBB nett, week 2 2BBB stableford, week 3 2BBB Par.
