Par 3

Men: 151m - Stroke 9
Women: 103m - Stroke 17

History

Takes its name not from the wet area between tee and green but from Shirley Marsh, a stalwart in the early days who did heaps to enhance the creek-side slopes.

Playing Notes

Its high stroke number belies a hole which can be tricky. A short tee shot will not run up onto the green, trees to the right and left snare wayward shots and there’s not much room behind the green before a ball runs into trees. [A local rule allows a provisional ball to be played when there’s doubt as to whether it might be lost in the hazard]
